Customer Support
Simply put, a stable technology platform means you can focus on more important matters, such as running your business.
Unfortunately, almost all companies have experienced a failure of their technology platform. Whether due to viruses, equipment malfunction or just human error, these failures lead to decreased revenue and potential lengthy recovery times. Often, this lost business never returns, finding its way to competitors.
By creating stable, reliable, advanced technology platforms, we enable our clients to concentrate on the daily operations of their businesses, without the nagging worry of technology problems.
While it's difficult to put a dollar figure on just how much money our platforms save our clients in the way of lost business, it's impossible to put a price tag on the peace of mind they bring.
Here’s an example of how we work our clients by listening to their needs, developing the appropriate solution and then implementing our strategies.
The customer needed to have a stable, 24/7 network for its California plant. We evaluated the existing network infrastructure, and created a solution that ensured continuous runtime, while we provided on-going monitoring of the network. Mind Dragon designed and deployed a Windows 2008 Enterprise cluster and a Storage Area Network solution. We included a complete disaster recovery system featuring Symantec Backup Exec with a remote failover at a second, secure data center. In addition, we deployed network infrastructure that included 10-gigabit switches, wireless bridges, enterprise anti-virus and anti-spam technology and firewalls. Finally, we re-deployed the accounting and customer management applications within a SQL-based environment to further ensure scalability and reliability. Mind Dragon monitored the network, and applied updates as necessary. We scheduled maintenance windows during the least busy times, and ensured the network was kept up-to-date. When one of the Enterprise servers in the cluster failed during business hours, all operations were transferred to the second Enterprise server within seconds. The users on the network did not notice any change within the network. Our technicians were notified of the failure by our automated alert system, and we were on site within two hours with replacement parts.
After the repair, we brought the server back online, and set it as a standby.
This is just one of countless examples of how we address the unique requirements of our customers, allowing them to efficiently operate their company without being burdened by technology concerns.
We can do the same for your business.
