Customer Support
A stable technology platform means you can focus on more important matters. Almost all businesses have experienced a failure of their technology platform. Whether due to viruses, equipment failure or just human error, these failures cost businesses a lot of money, recovery time and lost business. Our team has developed technology platforms which enable our clients to stay one step ahead of their competition. Whether the requirement is 24/7 or just low cost, our networks have endured over the years offering our clients the peace of mind to focus on delivering to their customers. One customer needed to have a stable 24/7 network for its California plant. We evaluated the existing network infrastructure and came up with a solution that ensured continuous runtime, while we provided on-going monitoring of the network. We designed and deployed a Windows 2000 Enterprise cluster and a Storage Area Network solution with complete disaster recovery using Veritas. In addition, we deployed network infrastructure to include switches, wireless bridges, enterprise anti-virus and anti-spam technology and firewalls. Finally, we re-deployed the accounting and customer management applications within a SQL based environment to further ensure scalability and reliability. We monitored the network and applied updates as necessary. We scheduled maintenance windows during the least busy times and ensured the network was kept up to date. When one of the Enterprise servers in the cluster failed during business hours, all operations were transferred to the second Enterprise server within five minutes. The users on the network did not notice any change within the network. Our technicians were notified of the failure by our automated alert system and we were onsite within two hours with replacement parts. After the repair, we brought the server back online and set it as a standby. In 2003, we recommended and deployed an upgrade to the network to include gigabit backbone and Windows 2003 Enterprise clustering technologies to further improve performance, reliability and stability. Our customer has grown from 40 seats in 2000 to over 200 seats in 2004 and has not experienced any downtime since then.
